Find photos that represent the following elements of composition. Find a different photo to represent each of the composition elements listed below. Place your photos on large paper and label the composition element. You may work with a partner.
Find a photo for each of the following composition elements.
- Rule of thirds
- Leading lines
- Repetition of patterns
- Action moving towards the camera
- Eye-contact
- Perspective: a bird's eye view or a worm's eye view
- Contrast in depth (subjects that are close up and far away)
- Framing (look for a photo that uses the background for a frame or uses part of the subject for a frame.
This should be completed by the end of the period.
